Professional Portfolio

Kaylie Caswell is a Portland-based apparel designer, textile artist, and creative professional specializing in collection development, print design, digital product creation, and narrative-driven brand storytelling. Her work explores how original artwork, color systems, surface design, and apparel can be woven together to create cohesive product ecosystems that extend beyond individual garments into fully realized lifestyle worlds.

As founder and creative director of House of Caswell, she develops collections rooted in Artful Nostalgia, transforming personal history, memory, and visual culture into contemporary apparel through original pastel artwork, custom textiles, and thoughtfully engineered silhouettes. Her process bridges traditional artistic practice with modern apparel development tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, CAD development, CLO3D and Vizcom visualization, digital patternmaking, and production-ready product workflows.

In parallel with her independent design work, Kaylie has spent more than a decade developing apparel, merchandise, and lifestyle products for the globally recognized music-driven brand Berried Alive, creating products across menswear, womenswear, unisex apparel, accessories, and soft goods while helping shape the brand's visual identity and direct-to-consumer product strategy.

She also works in apparel design and product development at Teri Lingerie, where she supports seasonal collections through concept development, graphics, print engineering, fittings, technical refinement, factory communication, sourcing, and cross-functional product execution.

Her work sits at the intersection of art, storytelling, and apparel development, with a particular focus on creating emotionally resonant collections that balance creative vision, technical execution, and commercial viability.
